Al Josala Trading FZE LLC is a UAE-based trading and commercial brokerage house working in food stuff: rice and grains, pulses, frozen meat and poultry, canned goods, nuts, dried fruit and confectionery.
We connect dependable origin suppliers with buyers who need consistent quality, clean documentation and shipments that land when they were promised.
We buy, hold terms and deliver against your specification, packing and destination.
Or we sit between supplier and buyer — finding, verifying and closing on agreed commission.
A free-zone establishment in the Emirates, positioned between origin markets and demand.
Al Josala Trading FZE LLC works across two closely related lines: trading food stuff, and acting as a commercial broker for the people who move it. The two feed each other — the same supplier network that lets us quote a container of rice is the network we open up when a buyer needs a partner rather than a price.
Our tagline is not decoration. Food trade runs on repeat business, and repeat business runs on candour: telling a buyer when an origin is tight, telling a supplier when a spec will not pass, and putting both positions in writing before anyone loads a box.
From enquiry to delivered documents, you deal with the same people.
We quote what the market can actually supply, at the season it can supply it.
Certificates and specs agreed up front, not chased after shipment.
Six core categories, quoted by container against your specification, packing and destination port. If a line you need sits close to these, ask — sourcing it is usually a phone call away.
Basmati, sella, parboiled and long-grain white rice, plus wheat, maize, barley and flour — in bags or jumbo, retail-printed or plain.
Red and green lentils, chickpeas, kidney and white beans, split peas, moong and toor — machine-cleaned, sortex grades on request.
Halal frozen chicken — whole birds, portions and griller sizes — buffalo meat, mutton and cuts to spec, moved in reefer containers.
Tomato paste, canned tuna and sardines, beans, sweetcorn, fruit cocktail, pickles and table sauces — retail tins and catering sizes.
Almonds, cashews, pistachios and walnuts alongside dates, raisins, apricots, figs and prunes — bulk cartons or consumer packs.
Biscuits, wafers, chocolate, jellies and hard candy with chips, extruded snacks and namkeen — shelf-life and labelling checked before we ship.
Not every deal needs a trader on the invoice. When a buyer would rather contract the mill directly — or a supplier wants a foothold in the Gulf without opening an office — we broker it: finding the counterparty, testing that they are real, negotiating the commercial terms and staying on the file until the goods are delivered and the payment is closed.
Commission is agreed in writing before we introduce anyone, and it is the only thing we take from the deal.
Product, grade, packing, quantity, destination, target price and the date it has to arrive.
We shortlist origins and counterparties, check licences and capacity, and put offers side by side.
Incoterms, inspection, tolerance, payment instrument and the full document set, agreed by both parties.
Booking, loading updates, documents couriered on time, and someone answerable if anything slips.
Four mandates we take on, alone or alongside a trade. Each one is scoped and priced before we start work.
You tell us the line and the landed target; we find the mill, plant or exporter that can hold it and bring you two or three real offers.
For producers without a Gulf office: we carry your range to importers and distributors across the UAE, the Middle East and Africa.
Terms drafted, Incoterms and payment instrument settled, inspection agreed, and the document set tracked until the bank releases.
Where an origin is this season, what a fair level looks like today, and which counterparties are worth a conversation.
Food stuff is only as good as the paperwork that travels with it. We agree the specification and the certificate list at the offer stage, and we work with suppliers who can produce both without a scramble.
Meat and poultry sourced from approved halal-certified plants, with certificates issued per shipment and matched to the consignment.
Moisture, purity, broken percentage, count size, brix, drained weight — written into the contract with a stated tolerance.
Invoice and packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, health or phytosanitary certificate, halal certificate and analysis report as the destination requires.
Artwork, language, ingredient declaration and remaining shelf life checked against the importing country’s rules before loading.
Pre-shipment samples on request and third-party inspection arranged where the buyer, the bank or the market wants it.
Reefer temperature set and recorded for frozen cargo, with loading photographs shared as the container is stuffed.
The UAE sits a few sailing days from most of the world’s food origins and most of the region’s demand. We use that: sourcing where the crop and the price are, consolidating or re-exporting here, and delivering where our buyers are.
Producing markets where we hold working supplier relationships.
Importers, distributors and wholesalers across our core demand markets.
Quoted FOB, CFR, CIF or ex-warehouse UAE — whichever suits how you buy.
Full containers as standard, dry or reefer; mixed loads where the category allows it.
Letter of credit or telegraphic transfer, on terms confirmed in the contract.
Both, and we say which one we are before we quote. On a trade we contract with you directly; on a brokered deal you contract the supplier and we earn an agreed commission.
Most lines move as a full container, and the practical minimum changes by commodity and packing. Send the product and quantity you have in mind and we will tell you plainly whether it is workable.
For standard commodities, usually within one working day. Anything needing a fresh mill or factory offer takes a little longer — we will tell you when to expect it rather than leave you waiting.
Yes, on several lines — your brand, your bag or carton size, your artwork. Minimums are higher than for plain packing and lead times longer, so bring it up at enquiry stage.
Certificates are issued at origin per shipment and must match the consignment and your destination’s requirements. We confirm which authority the importing country accepts before the goods are booked.
We do. If you are a mill, plant or manufacturer looking for Gulf and African buyers, send your product list, certifications and current export markets and we will come back to you.
Product, grade, quantity, destination and the date it has to arrive is enough to start. Buyers, suppliers and agents are all welcome.
